Community Partnerships
When 'church' happens outside of the sanctuary Monday through Saturday, we begin to see the real meaning of doing church beyond our walls. But sometimes, walls are needed. We are excited and proud to find ways to reach out to other programs that compliment the work of the church. Below are just a couple of examples.
Southington Community Services
Southington Community Services (SCS) provides support services to Southington residents and serves as a link between private providers, human services and governmental agencies.
When PCUCC was asked if we had space available, we found it...no rental charge!
It was an obvious way to extend the use of the building in ways that reach out to the community. You'll often see them around getting things in place for the SCS Operation Stay Warm Winter Clothing Shop and Prom Shop
More than just a place to grow, The Friends Room is life empowering, life changing, and life saving, and we are blessed to serve families in central Connecticut.
