Plantsville Congregational UCC strongly believes in the value of our youth members and the many special gifts and contributions they bring to the life of our congregation. Because of this, the church seeks many ways to be supportive of youth activities.
If you are a young person or you are a family who is searching for a church experience that welcomes youth presence and participation, you are invited to join us. Together, we are seeking ways to deepen our relationship with God, grow our faith and discipleship, and discover new and exciting ways to BE the church, now and into the future! Sr. High PYF traditionally gathers together on most Sunday evenings from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. There are times during the year when youth are encouraged to participate in "all church" activities as well. Those activities take precedence if they fall on a Sunday evening. Our time together is often a mixture of games, group activities, bible study or hot topic discussions, worship, service projects, outings, and snacks.
Middle High PYF (or Jr. PYF) traditionally gathers one Sunday evening per month from 5:00pm until 6:30pm. Our time together usually includes games, service projects, group activities, outings and snacks.
