Come to the Fair! Ye Olde Country Fair is Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Upstairs we have crafts and stitchery, homemade candy, silent auction, quilt raffle, homemade baked goods and pies, Glenn’s homemade bread, gingerbread houses, wood creations, homemade jams, pickles, relishes and jellies, Cabot cheese wedges, and a luncheon. Downstairs we have Village Keepsakes including gently used pocketbooks, a Christmas room, beautiful gift baskets, jewelry, and the Cookie Walk. Outside, we have 2 large tents full of “attic treasures”.
Please join us for the 27th Annual Ye Olde Country Fair at Plantsville Congregational Church, 109 Church St., in the Plantsville section of Southington.
It's the largest church fair in the area!
If you have never been to our fair, please make it a point to do so this year. Ye Olde Country Fair is fully staffed and run by our congregation members, and our members also make all homemade and handmade items. We do not use vendors. (We have a lot of very talented people in our congregation!)
Our members have been busy making beautiful handmade crafts and stitchery, delicious homemade canned and baked goods and candy, and hundreds of dozens of cookies for our popular Cookie Walk. And wait until you see this year's quilt to be raffled! It's spectacular!
There's also fanciful gingerbread houses (a whole room of them). Take a chance and see if you can win one or more of them! There are three wheels of fresh Vermont Cabot cheese, delightful gift baskets and more.
Looking for bargains? They're back with gently-used jewelry, books, Christmas items and decorative items in our church hall and downstairs. The super bargains will be outside in two tents.
Take a small break from shopping and enjoy a wonderful luncheon, served by our PYF youth members.
Admission is free.
Plus, we donate 10% of our profits to the Southington Community Services to help those in need in our community.
